The Quilter's Clock

It's quilt o'clock!

It has been a looooong time a) since I posted and b) since I made something. Actually, I did make a few things these past months, but I did not take pictures of everything and I only managed to do one quilt (sob!!!). This is one of my smaller projects, and I am filing this one under "I really wanted to try it out but maybe only once". It was a pattern from Fat Quarterly and is a paper-pieced clock.

I love the colour combination but it was a real challenge to get everything facing in the right direction. I used some Kaffe (I LOVE!!!), some Tula Pink and other pieces from my stash. I am a bit miffed about the alignment of the zigzag fabric (that's the Tula Pink fabric). It was supposed to be random, but three pieces ended up very similar, one was different.

Overall, I loved making it because I am a bit of a paper-piecing devotee. I love getting the seams so clean and well lined up!
